Recently, China Electricity Council released a notice on the awards granted to winners in the National Performance Contest for 300MW thermal power generating units at the 42nd annual year. CR Power won several awards at the contest.

Of all 300MW pure condensing water-cooled units, No. 1 unit of CR Power (Dengfeng) Co., Ltd. won the first prize and No. 2 unit of the same company won the second prize. No. 2 and No. 4 units of CR Power (Xuzhou) Co., Ltd. and No. 2 unit of CR Power (Henan) Co., Ltd. at Gucheng won the third prizes. Of all 300MW heat-supplying water-cooled units, No. 1 and No. 2 units of CR (Cangzhou) Thermal Power Co., Ltd. won third prizes.

It is reported that, as of May 31, 2013, 216 thermal power plants (with 558 units) participated in the annual contest for 300MW thermal power generating units, with application data for 430 units submitted by 171 plants were approved as valid. A total of 92 units were rated as winning units following the Measures for the Rating and Administration of the National Thermal Power Coal-fired Generating Units (Version 2012).
