As Yichang Power Plant's Open Day came to an end on September 30, CR Power's 30-day Clean Energy Promotion Month in the theme of "Green Development for Better Life” was closed in success.
During the Promotion Month, a total of 36 subsidiaries in 10 regions of the company successfully held open-day activities to promote wind power, photovoltaic, hydropower, thermal power and electricity distribution among the visitors from 19 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government. A total of 1735 visitors including community residents, teachers, students, environment protection volunteers, customers, business partners, government agencies, media and other individuals and organizations visited CR Power and learnt about its achievements in developing renewable energies such as wind power, enhancing power supply and other services in response to the call of supply-side reform, improving disposal of waste to make urban environment cleaner and repaying the society with love.
During the event, the visitors learnt more about CR Power through presentation, discussions, on-site visit and seminars, and all CR Power's participating companies built a close tie with the public by the interactive activities such as "creative photo taking", "happy communication", "safety experience", "power plant painting", "fruit tree planting" and "book donation" which were orchestrated by the companies in accordance with the visitors' characteristics and their own strong points.
During the event which has set up a good platform for communication and exchange between the company and relevant parties and effectively promoted the business operation and development of the participating companies in the regions they are operating, Dengfeng Power Plant in the Central and Western Region and Banqiao Power Plant in the Jiangsu Region signed agreements on supply of power of 230 million kilowatt hours with19 enterprises. The event has drawn wide attention and praise from the public and the media. The report of the State, local and industry media that participated in the event covered the event and the participating enterprises from various angles and in all directions through newspapers, television, websites, WeChat public numbers, APP and other platforms, resulting in wide recognition of the event and the enterprises and higher profile of CR Power as a brand of green development by increasing its popularity among the public.
This clean energy promotion month event is the third of its kind held by the holding company for consecutively three years. In order to continuously strengthen communication with all parties in the society, the holding company began to hold promotion month event in September every year from 2016 to focus on different themes in accordance with the company's annual management target and key work planning. This year's clean energy promotion month event has achieved fruitful results under the support of Institute of Technology and other organizations, regions and affiliated enterprises.
