Strategic Cooperation Agreement between CR Power and Japan's Electric Power Development Co., Ltd.

On October 26, CR Power and Japan's Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing, and CR Power's President Hu Min and Electric Power Development Co., Ltd.'s President Toshifumi Watanabe signed the agreement on behalf of each side respectively.
Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. is one of Japan's major power enterprises, with a total installed capacity of 17.91 million kilowatts of hydropower and thermal power generation equipment in Japan, and has invested 7.8 million kilowatts in power projects in Southeast Asia including China and the United States.
Under the trend of steady economic and trade cooperation between China and Japan, and based on the cooperation of CR's Hezhou Power Plant in Guangxi, CR Power and Electric Power Development Co., Ltd., the two large power companies well-known in China and Japan, signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement this time, under which efforts will be made to set up a regular exchange of visits between high-level officials every year, further promote exchanges and project development cooperation in the fields of technology and management, and jointly improve the market competitiveness, technology and management level of both sides.
The signing ceremony was attended by Makoto Honda, director and executive officer, and Kawai Tomoya of the International Business Department of Electric Power Development Co., Ltd., Ge Changxin, vice chairman and senior vice president of CR Power, Xu Hongbo, assistant president, and Wang Changli, secretary general.
