President Hu Min Met with Michael KEROULLE, CEO of GE Steam Power Group

On July 26th, Hu Min, President of the Holding Company, met with Michael KEROULLE, CEO of GE Steam Power Group, at China Resources Tower. The two sides exchanged ideas on project cooperation, technological innovation and international business.

 

President Hu Min welcomed Michael KEROULLE for his visit and introduced the management, technology innovation and development plan of CR Power. He pointed out that CR Power and GE Steam Power Group had carried out friendly cooperation in technical transformation of steam turbine in Shouyangshan Project, and would deepen cooperation in Xiantao Project and Fuyang Project Phase II. As the Phase II of Fuyang Project required high degree of technological innovation and great design cooperation, President Hu hoped that the two sides could work closely to explore new technologies and processes to improve the cycle efficiency, peak-shaving flexibility, high-efficiency operation at low load of the units, thus creating a new benchmark for the coal-fired power units with minimum energy performance around the world.

 

CEO Michael KEROULLE introduced the global business of GE Steam Power Group, shared their experience in global development, and introduced the research and development of ultra-supercritical 650/670 °C technology and technical characteristics such as peak-shaving flexibility of the units. The two sides also exchanged views on international project cooperation and development.

 

Sacha PARNEIX, General Manager of Global Sales of GE Steam Power Group and relevant persons in charge of China Region, Zhao Houchang, Vice President of the Holding Company, Wang Yonggang, Technical Director and General Manager of Construction Management Department, and relevant personnel from Construction Management Department, International Business Department and Purchasing Management Department attended the meeting.
