On August 15th, 2019 China Resources “Future Star” Central China Region Fifth Training Camp (Power Camp) held its closing ceremony in Wuhan, Hubei. Li Ruge, member of the Party Committee and Chief Accountant of China Resources Group as well as Board Chairman of China Resources Power, attended the ceremony together with relevant persons in charge of China Resources University, relevant departments and regions of CR Power, camp counselors and campers.

Chairman Li Ruge delivered a speech, expressing his welcome to all campers for joining the big family of CR and congratulating everybody on their successful completion of various learning tasks. Chairman Li reviewed the development history of China Resources Group and raised claims for all campers combining with the Central Government’s instruction spirit for China Resources. First, they should strengthen their convictions to become mission-driven CRers, and integrate their personal effort into the lofty mission of CR to lead business progress and create a better life. Second, they should be honest and trustworthy to become dedicated CRers, keep words for duties, treat each other with sincerity, be meticulous in ordinary positions, and accumulate strength. Third, they should strengthen learning to become innovative CRers, constantly improve business capabilities in work practices, always maintain the spirit of pioneering and enterprising in line with the characteristics of CR, and carry out innovations in technology, products, formats and business models. He also encouraged the campers to actively participate in CR’s business tide to contribute talent, youth and enthusiasm, achieving glory with CR.

Lin Niansheng, Director of Fifth Camp and General Manager of Central China Region, made a closing report, closely focusing on the training objectives of “identifying CR, transforming roles and setting up ambitions”, taking “party-building-led, learning-escorted, innovation-drive, all-round development” as the main line, summing up the reasonable curriculum setting, activity arrangement and innovation promotion combining the practical situation of power work and business development direction of the company.

Innovation representatives of Central China Region Fifth Training Camp reported on the outstanding projects of the Innovation Competition, which centered around CR Power’s business in 8 aspects, involving intelligent production lines of thermal power plants, new energy, power spot market, integrated energy service, energy storage, cloud computing, robotics, and 3D printing. It showed the innovative thinking and knowledge accumulation of the new generation of youth in CR Power.

The camp also commended 20 campers with outstanding performance in the four performance appraisal dimensions: diligent study and sharp thinking, honesty and trustworthiness, positive acts, and pursuit of excellence. The campers recalled the achievements made by the “Future Star” Training Camp over the past ten years by poetry reading, expressing their gratitude and attachment to the camp as well as their best wishes for the future of China Resources.

At the ceremony, Central China Region handed the camp flag of China Resources University over to Southwest China Region, next year’s organizer of Power Camp, marking a successful ending of the training camp this year. After 31 days’ training, 343 campers will start a new journey. They will work hard to write the best chapter of their youth in different positions, grow and progress together with China Resources.
