On May 29, Tang Yong, President of China Resources Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CR Power"), made an official visit to Qin Rupei, Executive Vice Chairman of the Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, in Nanning, Guangxi, carrying out friendly exchanges on CR Power’s energy business development and targeted poverty alleviation through energy in Guangxi.
President Tang Yong conveyed the greetings of Fu Yuning, Chairman of China Resources Group, expressed his gratitude to the government of the autonomous region for its long-term care and support to China Resources, and briefly introduced the Group's investment in Guangxi. He said that with steady and progressive economic development, remarkable results achieved in the epidemic prevention and control, and a solid foundation for cooperation with China Resources, Guangxi is a hot spot for investment and development; CR Power will thoroughly implement the spirit of the meeting between Chairman Fu Yuning and secretary of the autonomous region Lu Xinshe, participate in the development of the 14th Five-year Plan of Guangxi in depth, and carry out more extensive cooperation in such fields as targeted poverty alleviation through energy under the project of "power transmission from Hezhou Power Plant to Guangdong", and offshore wind power development, to develop and grow together with Guangxi.
Executive Vice Chairman Qin Rupei thanked Chairman Fu Yuning for his concern, welcomed the visit of President Tang Yong, and expressed his gratitude to China Resources for its contributions to Guangxi's economic and social development and poverty alleviation. He pointed out that with good momentum of economic development in recent years, Guangxi comes out in front in the growth rate of total electricity consumption in the country; he hopes that China Resources will increase investment in Guangxi's energy business, give full play to the advantages of diversified industries and headquarters in Hong Kong, solidify the form of cooperation, deepen the connotation of cooperation, and introduce new technologies, new industries and new techniques needed by China Resources, Guangxi and the country, to create a new situation of win-win cooperation with new responsibilities and new actions.
