On April 12, the opening ceremony of CR - BYD Power Energy Storage Joint Laboratory was held at BYD Global Headquarters in Shenzhen. Shu Youxing - General Manager of BYD International Cooperation Division, Tang Yong - President of CR Power, Zhang Baosheng - General Manager of Fudi Battery Energy Storage and New Battery Division, and relevant responsible persons from China Resources University and CR Power Technology Institute Co., Ltd. attended the event.

In his speech, General Manager Shu Youxing said that the establishment of the Power Energy Storage Joint Laboratory by BYD and China Resources is a positive response to and practice of green technology innovation initiatives advocated by the Chinese government, which represents a new starting point for both sides in the energy industry technology and industry complementarity, integration and innovation.

President Tang Yong said his hope is that through cooperation, based on the joint laboratory platform, BYD and CR Power can give full play to their respective technical advantages, carry out multi-dimensional and in-depth cooperation, do a good job in industrial planning and layout, focus on project implementation, achieve a cross-field and cross-business win-win situation for both sides, and fully integrate into and fully serve the realization of peaking carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality in China.

General Manager Zhang Baosheng said that BYD and China Resources share similar cultural concepts and corporate visions, and both sides hope to use leading technologies to make human life better. The establishment of a joint laboratory will be beneficial to the further development of both sides' power energy storage undertakings.

The laboratory was jointly initiated and established by BYD, China Resources Power, China Resources University, etc. Relying on the platform, both sides will carry out forward-looking research on battery energy storage, develop highly competitive battery energy storage peak regulation solutions, enhance the competitiveness of both sides in the field of power energy storage, and jointly promote the development of new energy industry and contribute to the realization of the goal of "peaking carbon dioxide emission and carbon neutrality".
