On November 12, Chairman Wang Xiangming of the Group went to China Resources Power Guangzhou Company to investigate maintaining stable energy supplies. Wang Chuandong, Deputy General Manager of the Group and Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Resources Power, accompanied him for this investigation.

Chairman Wang and his entourage visited the central control room, steam turbine platform, solid waste disposal center, and other major production areas to conduct field investigations to gain an in-depth insight of generators' operation of Nansha Power Plant, equipment management, technological innovation, coal inventory, urban sludge disposal, etc. They extended cordial greetings to the special energy supply guarantee team. At the subsequent symposium, the Chairman heard at length from a special report on China Resources Power's energy supply guarantee conditions, with a particular emphasis on understanding the energy, electricity, and heat supply guarantee conditions in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and the Northeast region. And he also exchanged discussions with the special class of power supply guarantee to coordinate and resolve issues that arose throughout the guarantee work.

Chairman Wang Xiangming affirmed China Resources Power's solid and meticulous work of ensuring energy and power supply, as well as expressing his expectations and demands for the next step. First of all is to enhance political positions, thoroughly put into practice following the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on energy supply guarantee work, resolutely implement the deployment requirements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on strengthening energy supply guarantees, further improve the working mechanism, and ensure that higher-level instructions and document requirements are communicated and enforced in place in due time. The second is to strengthen communication and coordination with power grid companies and other units, strictly carry out dispatching instructions, establish close cooperative relations, seize the window of opportunity presented by the de-escalated power supply situation, and stabilize power supplies. The third is to take the initiative, to challenge ourselves, to continue to make progress, to take multiple measures to improve performance, to strengthen the confidence and determination of "overtaking on a curve," to accelerate the optimization of the energy structure during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period and to build China Resources Power into a world-class clean energy supplier and an integrated energy service provider. The fourth is to ensure stable and safe operation of the power supplies, pull out all the stops to ensure that the generators can be made the most of and that safety is the overriding concern for energy supply and business development. We must firmly assume the political responsibility of energy and power supply and demonstrate our missions as a central SOE with practical actions.
