On March 24, CR Power held the 2023 Work Conference in Shenzhen, with the theme of "Reinventing and Making New Breakthroughs to Jointly Create a Benchmark". Attendees included leaders from relevant departments of CR Group, senior executives and external directors of CR Power, direct managers of CR Power, and relevant staff from Chongqing Energy and Shengjing Energy.

Zhang Junzheng, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of CR Power, made an introductory speech, and representatives of relevant departments respectively made annual benchmark reports on development, construction, operation, fuel, finance and organizational performance evaluation, as well as special reports on comprehensive energy and energy technology. Mr. Zhang Junzheng delivered an annual work report for the Company, summarized the work of the full year, analyzed the external situation, carried out the external benchmarking, and made arrangements for the next stage. At the conference, awards were presented to advanced units, outstanding units in investment, engineering, operation, EHS and other fields were respectively commended, and the Award for Comprehensive Performance Contribution and the Award Special Contribution were granted. Annual performance contracts were concluded between the holding companies and the regions, and between the regions and the regional companies.

Shi Baofeng, President of CR Power, pointed out in his speech that in 2022, the Company had suffered many difficulties in development, construction and operation, and all the staff had overcome the difficulties and made excellent achievements in performance indicators, business management, etc. At the same time, some gaps and weaknesses were also found in the development of CR Power, which need to be improved in the work. In the future, CR Power will work steadfastly on the following tasks. The first is to make breakthroughs in business, and fight hard in the protracted war to expand the scale and the breakout war to find good business segments. The Company will insist on making great efforts for large projects and taking easy measures for small projects, to make it clear that the indicators are only for the first half and grid connection decides the final word, and to make continuous progress in the fields of integrated energy and energy technology. The second is to improve the management level, enhance the brand influence, and strengthen the risk defense line. The Company will give full play to the advantages of full life cycle lean management and diversification, polish the business card of a central enterprise in Hong Kong and ESG, build the soft power of corporate culture and management system, properly conduct M&A and restructuring and capital operation, avoid strategic deviation, ensure production safety, and prevent business risks. The third is to strengthen organizational guarantee, and put emphasis on the fundamental plan of strengthening Party building and the long-term plan of cultivating talents. The Company will continuously study and implement the guidelines of the 20th CPC National Congress, comprehensively strengthen the role of Party building in leading and guaranteeing the work, and uphold the strict governance over the Party. Besides, it will adhere to a correct personnel selection and appointment orientation, make it possible for cadres to be promoted or demoted, strengthen the construction of cadre echelon, and improve internal capabilities.

Mr. Zhang Junzheng put forward three requirements for implementing the guidance from the conference. The first one is to be "fast". Rapid acceleration and targeted efforts are needed. The Company needs to quickly communicate and implement the guidance from the conference, roll up the sleeves and make further improvement, so as to promote the effective implementation of the outcomes of the conference. The second is to be "united". Efforts shall be gathered and with boosting energy. The Company will perform all tasks and realize all objectives with high standard, high quality and indestructible synergy. The third is to be "practical". Practical efforts and actual achievements shall be made. The Company shall fully explore the spirit of the conference, proceed from the reality, implement the company's annual business plan, achieve great goals with small moves, and obtain tangible results.
