Along the southeast gulf of Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone, we can see the first 1 million-KW coastal power plant with super clean emission in Guangdong Province -- CR Haifeng Power Plant, which is an important power support point of the major grid in the Pearl River Delta. The first multithreaded carbon capture test platform in Asia constructed by relying on the Unit No. 1 of CR Haifeng Power Plant has been put into operation formally, marking the important milestone of the State's carbon capture demonstration project.

"If energy conservation and emission reduction can combine with economic benefits, this demonstration platform will be of the significance of promotion." ......In general, China's CCUS technologies are still in the early stage, with less projects, small scale and high costs, and the commercial operation of CCUS is confronted with problems of high costs and lack of supporting infrastructures and relevant policies. However, the author felt the probability and hope of robust development of CCUS technologies more.

 
China has been deepening the development of energy production and consumption revolution, and speeding up clean and low-carbon energy transition.
