On September 7, Fu Yuning, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Board of Directors of China Resources Group, visited Haifeng Power Plant of CR Power for investigation and survey and had an informal discussion with employees. The visit was paid with the accompaniment of Lan Yi, Secretary General and Director of the General Office of the Group, Hu Min, President of CR Power.

Chairman Fu Yuning first visited Sludge Storage and Blending System, CCUS Test Platform Construction Site, Energy Storage and Frequency Modulation System, Green Wharf Shore Power, Distributed PV, Distributed Wind Power, Sea Water Desalination System, Smart Central Control Room and other production areas, as well as the international environmental protection education inhabitation hall to deeply understand the production performance, equipment performance, technical innovation, new business explanation and other works of Haifeng Power Plant. In the process of investigation and survey, Chairman Fu had a friendly talk with first-line employees to understand their daily work and family life, and thanked them for their hard work.

Later, at the discussion meeting, Chairman Fu Yuning carefully listened to the work report made by Wang Feng, General Manager of Haifeng Power Plant, about the fine operation, safe production management, international practice, and smart plant construction as well as new businesses including comprehensive energy business expansion and business model innovation. In that period, Chairman Fu held an in-depth discussion with attendees on the issues of sludge blending and combustion, improvement of quality and efficiency of thermal power, comprehensive energy development, CCUS technical status, power spot market, future opportunities, and challenges.

Chairman Fu Yuning made it clear that Haifeng Power Plant took the lead to seize market opportunities and solve national difficulties of environmental protection and stood as a good example of “Power Transformation and Innovative Development”, and it was further required to make use of its geographical advantage of coastal location, actively promote the development and construction of Units 3 and 4, and strive to be a comprehensive regional energy service provider depending on the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Area and the Shenzhen-Shantou Cooperation Zone. Regarding the future development of CR Power, Chairman Fu required that CR Power would continue excellent performance in operation management, technical innovation and market service work, effectively explore energy industry advantages, actively respond to national green development policies, provide favorable conditions, gather high-quality talents and accelerate the transformation toward a comprehensive energy service provider.
