On July 18, 11 thermal power project companies under China Resources Power won Advanced Thermal Power Unit Energy Efficiency Benchmarking Awards in 2019 China Coal-fired Power Generation Summit and Thermal Power Unit Energy Efficiency Benchmarking Competition held by China Electricity Council (CEC).
The winners of this energy efficiency benchmarking competition were selected by CEC through comprehensive evaluation of reliability indicators, economic indicators, technical supervision indicators and environmental protection indicators, as well as data publicity, on-site verification and final review according to China Thermal Power Coal-fired Units Competition Management Regulations (2016). A total of 5 units of the company’s thermal power projects were awarded AAAAA, 6 units awarded AAAA, and 8 units awarded AAA. Besides, the 50MW Supercritical Heating Wet Cooling #1 Unit of Panjin Project was awarded the Optimal Unit in terms of net coal consumption rate and power consumption rate.
Since 2018, faced with complicated external environment, each thermal power project company has utilized existing resources and system equipment to improve operational management system, carry out technological innovation and technological transformation, deepen internal management and tap potential, and promote energy efficiency improvement, showing CR Power’s pursuit of green, cleanness and efficiency.
