On March 7, the commencement ceremony of CR Power Smart Energy Research and Development Center Project was held in Songshan Lake, Dongguan. Liu Wei - member of the Standing Committee of Dongguan Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of Songshan Lake Party Working Committee, relevant leaders of the Songshan Lake Management Committee, Zhang Junzheng - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of CR Power, Jiang Muchuan - Party Secretary of CR Land South China Region, Head of CR Land Dongguan Company and responsible persons of the interested parties attended the event.

Secretary Liu Wei said in his speech that Songshan Lake Science City was incorporated into the Greater Bay Area Comprehensive National Science Center Advance Starting Area for construction, and would gather a number of large-scale scientific facilities, high-level universities, research and development platforms, and research and development institutions. After the CR Power Smart Energy Research and Development Center Project is completed and put into operation, it will release huge economic and social benefits, provide strong impetus for the new round of development of Dongguan, and promote Dongguan to achieve the grand goal of becoming a "City of Greater Bay Area and High-quality Dongguan".

Vice Chairman Zhang Junzheng said that combined with the national strategic plan of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, there will be an opportunity to form an advanced manufacturing technology innovation center with global influence in the future in Songshan Lake. As a leading enterprise in the energy industry, CR Power will build the CR Power Smart Energy Research and Development Center Project in Songshan Lake. Centering on the concept of green development, CR Power will focus on the construction of smart energy infrastructure integrated with urban architecture, so as to create a new name card of green, environment-friendly and low-carbon city.

The CR Power Smart Energy Research and Development Center Project is the first project invested and constructed by CR Power in Dongguan. It is located at the intersection of Zhicheng Road and Xincheng Road, Songshan Lake, Dongguan City, with a total area of 82,100 square meters and a total construction area of about 216,000 square meters. In accordance with the plan, the project will integrate the application of new smart energy technologies in power, grid, load and storage, to build a comprehensive energy demonstration base. With CR Smart Energy as the core support and R&D and incubation as the two wings, it will focus on clean energy and comprehensive energy services, attract upstream and downstream enterprises, research institutions and startup companies in the fields of new materials, new equipment and new algorithms to settle, and form a cross-industry and cross-professional smart energy innovation enterprise cluster.
