At 15:39 on July 8th , Qiuxian 100MW wind power project of Jinan New Energy Company in North China Region was successfully connected to the grid for power generation.

Qiuxian Wind Power Project is located in Qiu County, Handan, Hebei. It is the first grid-connected power generation project of Jinan New Energy Company. After the project was connected to the grid, it can save 65,000 tons of standard coal per year, reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by 0.15 million tons/year, nitrogen oxides 439.2 tons/year, and carbon dioxide 165,600 tons/year, which resulted in significant environmental benefits, including improving air quality and reducing air pollution.
