On June 16, Guangdong Science and Technology Evaluation Association sent the report on the evaluation of CR Power RunYouYi's technical achievement entitled Research and Application of Dynamic Benchmark Value System Operation Optimization Technology Based on Mathematical Intelligent Modeling, which claims that the core technology of the achievement has reached the international leading level and that a consensus has been reached to pass the evaluation for scientific and technological achievements.

On May 25, CR Power held the Annual Working Meeting 2020 themed "Stick Together to Create a Better Future" in China Resources Building. On May 8, CR Power released the 2019 Sustainable Development Report, its 10th annual sustainable development report. It systematically disclosed the practice and performance of CR Power in corporate governance and fulfilling its economic, social and environmental responsibilities in the past year, and was comprehensively rated as "Five-Star Excellence (Model)" by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. On the morning of April 23, CR Power and China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute (hereinafter referred to as CREEI) held a cloud signing ceremony for the offshore wind power cooperation agreement. On April 3, China Resources Smart Energy Co., Ltd. and Datang Smart Energy Industry Co., Ltd. ("Datang Smart Energy") signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement at China Resources Building. Hou Yongjie, Vice President of China Resources (Holdings) Co., Ltd. and Chairman of China Resources Smart Energy Co., Ltd., and Li Jie, Chairman of Datang Smart Energy attended the signing ceremony. On April 7, Xiaoting District awarded 59 outstanding talent representatives and teams from CR Power (Yichang) Co., Ltd., including Li Zhengbing, deputy general manager of the said company, and 42 technologically innovative enterprises, including Hubei Xingfa Chemical Group Co., Ltd., who have made outstanding contributions to economic and social development, with a prize of more than RMB 3.65 million.

On February 17, a tanker carrying 15,000 kg of sodium hypochlorite disinfectant (also known as 84 disinfectant) left CR Power Haifeng Power Plant for Ruiqi Science and Technology Industrial Park in Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone. This batch of disinfectant would be used for centralized disinfection in the park.
