    On December 30, CR Power Sunan Company's 200MW Fishery and PV Complementary Project in Nantong Export-oriented Agricultural Comprehensive Development Zone achieved full-capacity grid-connected power generation. The Project has installed a total of 53 PV power generation units. They are consolidated through an 8-circuit power collection system to a new 220kV step-up substation, which in turn is connected to the local grid. Upon completion, the Project is anticipated to supply the power grid with approximately 230 GWh of clean energy annually. This will potentially save around 70,000 tons of standard coal and reduce about 156,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions each year.

    On December 30, the Fujin 150MW Wind Power Project of CR Power Northeast China Region New Energy Co., Ltd. achieved full-capacity grid-connected power generation. The Project has a total of 24 WTGSs with a unit capacity of 6.25MW. After its completion, the Project is expected to generate 530 GWh of clean electricity each year, resulting in a saving of 172,400 tons of standard coal and a reduction of 417,800 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

    CR Power South China Region obtained 1 million-kW competitive allocation quota in the competitive allocation of Guangdong Province's 2023 Offshore Wind Power Project in Waters under Provincial Administration on October 11, achieving a zero breakthrough in CR Power's offshore wind power business in Guangdong Province.

    CR Power Shenyang New Energy Company signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Shenyang University on October 10 for the Near Zero Carbon Campus Demonstration Project. According to the agreement, both parties will conduct comprehensive cooperation in scientific research, academic exchanges, talent cultivation and joint exploration of zero carbon campus construction.

    The groundbreaking ceremony of CR Power Shenshan Company's 4×1000MW Denitration Liquid Ammonia-to-Urea Conversion Project was held in October 10. After the Project is completed, the ammonia gas for denitration of the 4 units will be completely supplied by the urea hydrolysis system, and there will be no liquid ammonia storage system in the factory, which can completely eliminate the major danger source of storing liquid ammonia in the factory and promote the improvement of safety production level of Shenshan Company.

    The hoisting of the first wind turbine of CR Power's 1000MW Wind Power Project in Santanghu was successfully completed on October 9. The Project is located in Santanghu Town, Balikun County, Hami City, Xinjiang, with a planned total investment of RMB 5.086 billion and one 250MW/1000MWh energy storage station constructed as the supporting facility. After the Project is completed, the average annual on-grid power generation capacity will be 3.048 billion kWh and the average annual equivalent utilization hours will be 3,074 hours, which can save 919,000 tons of standard coal and reduce 2.5239 million tons of CO2 emission every year.

    The Changzhou Project received a document from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Water Resources on October 8, announcing that CR Power (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of Provincial Water-saving Enterprise in 2022.

    China Boiler and Boiler Water Treatment Association announced the National Boiler Science and Technology Award recently. The Project, "Research and Application of Intelligent Phased Array Detection Technology for Key Components of Thermal Power Units", led by CR Power Science of the Technical Research Institute and completed with assistance of the Changzhou Project, won the Second Prize of the National Boiler Science and Technology Award.

    Run Carbon Technology completed the commissioning and acceptance of the Carbon Dioxide Capture and Resource-based Energy Comprehensive Utilization Technology Research and Demonstration Project of China Energy Taizhou Power Generation Co., Ltd. on September 28. The Taizhou Project is the first 500,000-ton carbon capture project in Asia and also the largest coal-fired power CCUS project in Asia. It is a national key technology research project and a major technology demonstration project of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality".
