The Hubei Puqi Power Plant under CR Power, located in Xianning, Hubei, with an installed capacity of 26,60 MW, is an important power support point and power supplier in Xianning and its surrounding area, and the Optics Valley and Jiangxia areas in Wuhan. Up to now, the plant has generated approximately 344 million KWH of power since February, with a cumulative annual power generation of 1.589 billion KWH, providing a strong "power" support for Hubei in its fight against the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).At the critical stage of epidemic prevention and control throughout Hubei Province, the coal inventory at the Puqi Power Plant on February 19 reached 519,100 tons, and it was expected that the inventory could be used for 62 days, which also soothed the local government's nerves.

On February 17, a tanker carrying 15,000 kilograms of sodium hypochlorite disinfectant (i.e. 84 disinfectant) exited from CR Power Haifeng Power Plant and headed for Ruiqi Technology Industrial Park in Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone. This batch of disinfectant will be used for centralized disinfection within the park.

On January 23, when the Spring Festival was right around the corner, Tang Yong, President of CR Power, went to inspect CR Power Central-West China Region’s Dengfeng Project and sent greetings to the employees working on the frontline.

On January 20, Zhang Junzheng, Vice Chairman of the board of directors of CR Power, went to Guangzhou to investigate the work of safety production for the South China Region Guangzhou Project and to extend his regards to the employees on the frontline.

On January 16, Vice Mayor of Shenzhen Huang Min went to CR Power Haifeng Power Plant to inspect the construction of the flexible sludge disposal and recycling industry center and the progress of smoke plume whitening, accompanied by President of CR Power Tang Yong and Vice President Hou Yongjie.

From December 26 to 27, Li Ruge, Chief Accountant of China Resources Group and Chairman of the board of directors of CR Power, and Tang Yong, President of CR Power, attended the signing ceremony of the investment cooperation framework agreement between Hezhou Municipal People's Government and China Resources (Group) Co., Ltd. & China Resources Education and Poverty Alleviation Donation Project, and visited Hezhou Power Plant for a preliminary investigation.

From December 16 to 22, when the New Year 2020 is just around the corner, CR Power launched its Students Welfare Week, an activity designed to provide aids to students. Thanks to the response from its affiliates, the program was in full swing, aiming at disseminating knowledge, sowing the seeds of love and contributing to the healthy growth of students in poverty-stricken areas.

On December 17th, CR Power’s Cangnan 1# Offshore Wind Power Project got the approval and became the company’s first approved offshore wind power project.

On December 12th, the awarding ceremony of 2019 Yicai the Corporate Social Responsibility Ranking in China was held in Shanghai. CR Power was on the list for its social responsibility practices and performance in green development and transformation innovation, and won the Environmental and Ecological Contribution Award.
