On December 12th, with the grid connection of #15, #16 and #18 wind turbines in Hubei Suixian Longquan Wind Farm, CR Power’s wind power grid-connected capacity exceeded 9 million kilowatts. Jie Jianping, Deputy Director of Hubei Energy Bureau, Yang Tianbing, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Suizhou People’s Congress, and Hu Min, President of CR Power, attended the grid connection ceremony.

On December 4th, the 2019 Annual Meeting of China Energy Research Society (CERS) was held in Beijing. Nearly 900 people attended the meeting, including academicians and authoritative experts in the energy field, leaders of relevant government departments, members of CERS, as well as representatives from energy enterprises and scientific research institutes. Hu Min, President of CR Power, and leaders of relevant departments were also invited to attend the meeting. The meeting commended outstanding innovation projects and individuals, and CR Power received multiple awards including the second and third prizes of Energy Innovation Award and Outstanding Energy Science Popularization Works given by CERS.

On November 28th, the Sina Gold Kirin Forum and the first Chinese Enterprise ESG “Golden Responsibility Award” ceremony was held in Beijing. CR Power was invited to attend the sub-forum themed with “ESG and Sustainable Development” and was awarded Best Social Responsibility Award of the first Chinese Enterprise ESG “Golden Responsibility Award”.

On November 26th, Hu Min, President of CR Power, met with Jens ?kland, Senior Vice President of New Energy Development Department of Equinor from Norway, and his delegation at China Resources Building. The two sides discussed on business development and collaboration in offshore wind power.

On November 21st, the 14th China Power Media Cup National Power Industry Outstanding Film and Television Works Exhibition and 2018 China Power News Award (Film and Television) Work Selection and Award Ceremony were held in Luzhou, Sichuan. China Resources Power won the Best Organization Award for its 8 film and television works participating in competition all winning awards.

From November 12th to 13th, 2019 China Resources Group Intelligence and Informatization Work Conference was held in Shenzhen. Chairman Fu Yuning and other group leaders, main persons in charge of each profit center and persons responsible for intelligence and informationization attended the meeting.

On November 9th, China Resources Power celebrated the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and held Family Day activities themed with “Happiness Gathering in CR Power and Lighting up Thousands of Families”. Over 500 employees and their family members of nearly 200 families from the company headquarters participated in the activities, enjoying good times, celebrating the birthday of the motherland, and sharing joy and happiness together.

From October 30th to November 2nd, the 14th International Environmental Protection Expo jointly organized by Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. was held at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong. As one of the exhibitors, China Resources Power displayed the company’s technological innovation achievements in smart city construction, green energy development and urban waste disposal, as well as environmental protection practices in energy conservation and emission reduction conducted in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.

On September 25th, members of the Belt and Road News Network (BRNN) Media Workshop, including mainstream media reporters from African countries such as Uganda, Nigeria, Zambia, Ghana, South Africa and all-media reporters from People’s Daily, came to the Flower City Guangzhou and visited China Resources Power, where they saw a beautiful garden-type power plant at a close distance, and learned about CR Power’s experience and exploration in clean energy, environmental protection upgrading and urban services.

From September 20th to 23rd, China Resources Power held an event of “CR Power in the Eyes of College Reporters” in the 4th Public Open Month with the theme of “Starting from the Heart, Sticking to Green Development”. Eighteen students in media-related majors from 11 universities, including Nanjing University, Sun Yat-sen University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, South China University of Technology, took part in the event, during which they visited Guangdong Shanwei Haifeng Power Plant, Fujian Longyan Zhenfu Wind Farm and Fujian Fuqing Smart Energy Project under CR Power, learning about the sustainable development of China’s modern energy and power enterprises and experiencing the innovation achievements of cutting-edge energy technology.
