On the evening of September 4th, 2019 Asian Power Awards Ceremony was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. China Resources Power won 5 awards this year, including Best Coal Power Project of the Year in Asia, Best Wind Power Project of the Year in China, Best Photovoltaic Project of the Year in China, Best Transformation and Upgrading Project of the Year in China, and Best Information Technology Project of the Year in China.

From August 27th to 30th, China Electricity Council (referred to as CEC) held the 2019 Power Industry Wind Power Operation Indicators Release Conference in Harbin, Heilongjiang. The conference released key indicators for domestic wind power production and operation in 2018, and announced the results of wind farm production and operation competition. China Resources Power, with a total of 24 wind farms winning awards, ranked first in the industry in terms of award-winning proportion.

On the morning of August 28th, the report and exchange meeting of the high-temperature subcritical comprehensive upgrading project was held in the Xuzhou Project of China Resources Power by China Energy Research Society (CERS). Over 50 people attended the meeting, including Hua Jianmin, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People’s Congress (NPC), Qin Zhongyi, former Chief Energy Engineer of National Energy Administration, Shi Yubo and Zhou Dadi, Executive Vice Presidents of CERS, Chen Jinxing, Vice President of CERS, Zheng Yuping, Secretary General of CERS, academicians including Ni Weidou, He Duohui, Chen Niannian and Su Wanhua, Professor Mao Jianxiong and other experts, leaders of the NPC Standing Committee of Jiangsu Province and Xuzhou, relevant persons in charge of Shenergy Company Ltd. (referred to as Shenergy) and Shenergy Power Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Shenergy Technology), and President Hu Min of CR Power.

On August 15th, 2019 China Resources “Future Star” Central China Region Fifth Training Camp (Power Camp) held its closing ceremony in Wuhan, Hubei. Li Ruge, member of the Party Committee and Chief Accountant of China Resources Group as well as Board Chairman of China Resources Power, attended the ceremony together with relevant persons in charge of China Resources University, relevant departments and regions of CR Power, camp counselors and campers.

On August 14th, China Resources Power announced its interim results of year 2019.

On July 26th, Hu Min, President of the Holding Company, met with Michael KEROULLE, CEO of GE Steam Power Group, at China Resources Tower. The two sides exchanged ideas on project cooperation, technological innovation and international business.

On July 18, 11 thermal power project companies under China Resources Power won Advanced Thermal Power Unit Energy Efficiency Benchmarking Awards in 2019 China Coal-fired Power Generation Summit and Thermal Power Unit Energy Efficiency Benchmarking Competition held by China Electricity Council (CEC).

On July 15, Central China Region Fifth Camp (Power Camp) of 2019 China Resources “Future Star” New Employee Training Camp opened in Wuhan, Hubei. President Hu Min and Vice President Wang Gaoqiang of CR Power, heads of CR’s Human Resources Department, CR Power’s relevant departments and regions, and 343 trainees attended the opening ceremony.

On July 2, Zhejiang University-CR Power Intelligent Energy Joint R&D Center was formally established on Yuquan Campus of Zhejiang University. Hu Min, President of CR Power, and Cen Kefa, academician of China Academy of Engineering and Director of Thermal Energy Engineering Institute at Zhejiang University, attended the unveiling ceremony.
