On June 30, Hu Min, President of CR Power, met with the government delegation of Terengganu State from Malaysia at China Resources Building. The two sides exchanged and discussed on matters including cooperation in Terengganu Industrial Park.

On June 27, Liu Baohua, Deputy Director of National Energy Administration, went to China Resources Power (Tangshan Caofeidian) Co., Ltd. (referred to as Caofeidian Project) for investigation and a symposium chaired by Li Ruge, Chief Accountant of China Resources Group and Chairman of the Board of CR Power, was held. Liu Yahong, Deputy Director of Hebei Provincial Development and Reform Commission and Director of Hebei Provincial Energy Bureau, and Sun Guishi, Secretary of Tangshan Caofeidian District Party Committee, accompanied during the investigation.

On June 21, CR Power released its 2018 Sustainability Report, which was the company’s ninth annual sustainability report. The report systematically disclosed the work done and performance made by CR Power in fulfilling its corporate social responsibilities in the previous year, and was rated five-star (Excellent) by Corporate Social Responsibility Research Center under Chinese Academy of Social Sciences for the fourth consecutive year.

On June 17, General Manager Wang Xiangming of China Resources Group went to Guangzhou China Resources Thermal Power Co., Ltd. (referred to as Guangzhou Project) for promoting safe production month activities, and conducted investigation on safety, health and environment management (EHS), production and operation, innovation and transformation, etc. Zhang Junzheng, Director of Environment, Health and Safety Department of CR Group, and Hu Min, President of CR Power, accompanied during the investigation.

On June 12, Li Ruge, Chief Accountant of China Resources and Chairman of the Board of CR Power, met with Yan Jinhai, member of the Standing Committee of Qinghai Provincial Party Committee and Vice Governor, in Xining. The two sides exchanged in an extensive way on CR’s project operation and investment development in Qinghai.

On May 28, CR Power held an event to celebrate its wind power integration capacity exceeding 8 million kilowatts at the No.16 Wind Generator on Nanxing Wind Farm in Leizhou, Zhanjiang, Guangdong. Cao Xing, member of the Standing Committee of Zhanjiang Municipal Party Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor, Huang Liandong, Deputy Secretary of Leizhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and President Hu Min of CR Power, were present at the event to jointly unveil the memorial stone for CR Power’s wind power integration capacity exceeding 8 million kilowatts.

From May 14 to 16, the 5th Guangdong International Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) Expert Workshop and the Inauguration Ceremony of Guangdong Carbon Capture Test Platform (GCCT) were held in China Resources Power (Haifeng) Co., Ltd. (referred to as Haifeng Project), marking the official operation of CR Power’s Haifeng Carbon Capture Test Platform, Asia’s first carbon dioxide capture technology test platform based on ultra-supercritical coal-fired power generating unit. Fei Weiyang, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and professor of Tsinghua University, Zou Guang, member of the Standing Committee of Shanwei Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, Hou Yongjie, Vice President of CR Power, and Ma Li, General Manager of South China Region were present at the Inauguration Ceremony.

On May 6, Hu Min, President of CR Power, met with Andrew Koob, co-founder of HYREF from Germany, at China Resources Building in Shenzhen. The two sides exchanged and discussed on the current development of hydrogen energy and fuel cells as well as future cooperation between the two parties.

At 18:18 on April 25, No.3 Unit of Caofeidian Project Phase II of CR Power made a success in the pilot run in full load for 168 hours, signifying that the coal-fired generating unit with the minimum design energy consumption worldwide was successfully put into operation and entered into a new stage of data test. Ding Xiufeng, the Vice Secretary of Tangshan Municipal Party Committee of Hebei Province and Mayor of Tangshan City, Hu Min, the Secretary of the Party Committee and President of CR Power and other persons attended the ceremony for the unit’s operation, at which they delivered speeches.

From April 1 to April 3, Ma Zhaoxiang, Liang Aishi and Su Zeguang, the independent non-executive directors of CR Power, headed for New Energy Operation and Maintenance Company in South China Region for investigation and survey, accompanied by Wang Xiaobin, the CFO of the Holding Company, Ma Li, the General Manager in South China Region and other persons.
